CSA stand for Community Supported Agriculture. Members support their local farms by purchasing a share before the season begins, and receive weekly shares of veggies or flowers as soon as the crops come in. At the Magic Bean Farm, our CSA and Subscription members help us cover our early season expenses during the chilly months when we aren’t producing and cash flow is tight. In return, our members get to share in the bounty of fresh flowers, dried florals, and wreaths once the ground thaws and starts to produce blooms. CSAs and Subscriptions are mutually beneficial for growers and members and a great way to experience the seasons, and meet your flower farmer.

Flower Subscriptions are a great option for flower lovers who want weekly, biweekly or monthly bouquets. Flower subscriptions are similar to a traditional CSA but with more flexibility to pause or cancel membership depending on your needs. Deliveries may be available for an additional fee upon request.

The Four Seasons CSA is a quarterly offering of seasonal florals spread out over the course of the year. The Four Seasons is for folks who want a taste of local florals each season without the commitment of a weekly or monthly pick up. We’ll work with you so you get your floral offering each season, for a total of four pick ups over the year. The Four Seasons CSA is also available year round, so you can sign up anytime.

Sometimes a CSA or Flower subscription just doesn’t work with your budget or schedule. That’s okay! You can find our flowers at Fox Market in East Montpelier, or you can find us at the Farmers Market in Marshfield. We also do custom orders for on farm pick up. However you decide to support your local farmers, it is deeply appreciated!

CSA memberships are a symbiotic relationship, much like a bee pollinating a flower. As a CSA member you pay for your share up front and in exchange we will provide you with beautiful flowers. When you pay for your share up front it helps us with costly farm inputs, like seeds and soil, when we really need it - before the growing season starts. As a member you are encouraged to sign up for our weekly newsletter which is filled with news from the farm, and early-bird notifications about our workshops and pop-ups, not to mention pick up reminders.

Subscriptions and CSAs can be picked up during your pick up window at our farm in Marshfield Vermont. When you purchase a CSA or Subscription you will be emailed prior to the first pick up with instructions. You may also request a delivery option for an additional fee. Be sure to email sarah@magicbeanfarmer.com if you would like to inquire about a home or work delivery.

Maybe! We do offer a delivery option for an additional fee in the Barre and Montpelier area. Email sarah@magicbeanfarmer.com to confirm that your home or office is in our delivery area and we’ll make a plan.
